Peter C. Craigie (1938-1985) was educated at the universities of Edinburgh, Durham, and Aberdeen and holds the Ph.D. from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He was academic vice president and professor of religious studies at the University of Calgary in Alberta.
