Paul’s second letter to the young church at Corinth is forged in the heat of difficult circumstances. False teachers were challenging the apostle’s authority and he also had to present a defence of the practice of church discipline for those who had in some way strayed.
Throughout this passionate letter, despite the believers’ failings, their lack of commitment and their criticism of his ministry, Paul’s love and concern for them shine through.
