This Revised Common Lectionary edition of the Gospels is designed for use at the Lectern. It features the NRSV translation with readings given for Sundays and Festivals during Years A, B and C.
The four symbols of the Gospels are depicted on the cover using gold-blocking: a man for Matthew, a lion for Mark, an ox for Luke and an eagle for John. It has a red cover, a ribbon and stained edges.
