To add a book to your basket, you should click on the little basket symbol to the right-hand side of the product record. Providing that your computer is set to accept cookies (temporary internet files that record the selections on your computer) this will then add one copy of the book to your basket.
To change the number of books in the basket, type the desired quantity into the appropriate box on the basket page and select Calculate total to save any changes. If this doesn't work you will need to check your internet settings.
If you use Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator:
Go to the Tools menu. Select Internet Options. In the middle of the dialogue box you will see a section entitled Temporary Internet Files; select the Settings and set the 'Check for newer versions....' option to Automatically, then click OK. Now choose Security from the tabs at the head of the dialogue box. Select Custom Settings, scroll through the list until you find the heading Cookies and the subheading Allow per-session cookies (not stored). You need to choose either Enable or Prompt. If you choose Prompt then you will be asked if you wish to accept each cookie; it you choose Enable your computer will accept them automatically.
When you have finished click OK to save these settings, you may be asked to confirm the changes, you will need to choose Yes. Click OK again to close the dialogue box. Now try to add the item to your basket again.
