The second volume of Ronald Blythe's acclaimed 'Wormingford' trilogy, consisting of illustrated collections of the author’s regular weekly column on the back page of the Church Times where, with a poet’s eye, he observes the comings and goings of the rural world he sees from his ancient farmhouse in Constable country.
The first and third instalments; Word from Wormingford and Borderland, are also now available in paperback.
In a long and distinguished career Ronald Blythe's work has included poetry, essays, short stories, history and literary criticism. His work has been filmed, translated, awarded literary prizes, and his voice recognised as one of special originality. He lives in the Stour Valley in the farmhouse which was once the home of his friend John Nash.
